My daughter, her husband and our two grand-children have been visiting us here in Southeast Texas for about a week now and are loving itThe kids have learned to fish in our pond for catfish. They caught about 6 fish in a 30 minute period as I captured the excitement on video.
It’s been fun seeing the the kids excitement with fishing. My daughter and her husband are enjoying it as much as the kids.
They caught about 5 large catfish the other day and let the smaller ones go. They kept the catfish on a stringer in the pond and decided to come back to get them the next day.
When my son-in-law lifted up the stringer, to his surprise, the fish had been eaten clean to the bone. Two of the fish were missing entirely, except for their jaw bone. Two of them had only skeletons left. One was missing all together.
This is so wierd. If any of you have any ideas what may have happened to the catfish in the pond please share your ideas.
Spending time with family is awesome! Fishing for catfish has created good times and family ties that will last a lifetime.
